Bank Details

Your Bank Account details are required to be registered with your Demat Account as per NSDL requirements. Some companies pay dividend, interest and maturity proceeds on securities held in your Demat Account by direct credit to the registered bank account. Others pay by cheques or warrants sent to your Correspondence Address with your bank account details printed on them. Such cheques or warrants can be deposited only in the specified bank account.

It is therefore important that you register details of the bank account in which you wish to receive all income arising from your demat securities. You are required to give Bank Account details at the time of opening the account. They can be changed at any time, as you desire.

You can view the bank account details currently registered in your Account Profile. Please ensure that any change in the bank account is communicated to us at the earliest. A separate request needs to be submitted for each Demat Account.

1. Download Change of Bank Account details Form
You can obtain the form in the following way:

Change of Bank Details Form can be downloaded in PDF or Word format. You can then print the form using Adobe Acrobat Reader or Microsoft Word. This is a blank form, which you need to complete, sign and send to IDBI Capital. You need access to a printer to print the form. Click Download Change of Bank Account details Formto open a new window to guide you through the process.
2. Attach Proof of New Bank Account
Attach a copy of the latest Bank Statement (not more than 2 months old) / Bank Pass Book with latest updated pages / Cancelled cheque from the Cheque Book of your new Bank Account where your name is printed on the cheque leaf, along with this form.
3. Send the completed form
After the Change in Bank Account details Form is completed in all respects, it must be signed by all holders of the DEMAT Account. The form along with the Proof of new Bank Account should be submitted to the nearest branch of IDBI Capital.
4. Process after submission of documents
On receipt of all the documents, IDBI Capital will verify the form along with the proof documents. If the form is in order, IDBI Capital will generate Change in Bank Account request in the NSDL system.
A confirmation letter will be couriered to you by post.
